ClimaSpec CI Structural Thermal Break solutions include a wide range of load bearing products. The compressive strength ClimaSpec CI possesses maintains the structural integrity of the connection, while also providing continuous insulation within the building envelope.
The grades of ClimaSpec CI required for the project can be determined by evaluating the insulation and structural performance values.
COLUMN BASE INSULATION
Column base isolation is achieved by installing ClimaSpec CI between the column base plate and concrete slab, plinth or embedded steel plate. ClimaSpec CI is attached to the connection with anchor bolts that can also be thermally isolated with ClimaSpec Thermal Washers and Bushings.
ClimaSpec CI is fabricated to project connection specifications, reducing installation time.
